The Rose d’Or Competition


The competition is at the heart of the Rose d'Or Festival. It promotes professional excellence and aims to encourage the creation of original works for television.
Each year the best entertainment programmes from around the world are entered to compete for a coveted Rose d'Or Award.

Since 1961 the Rose d'Or Award acknowledges creativity, originality and quality in entertainment television programming.

Previous winners include ‘Who wants to be a Millionaire’, ‘Deal or no Deal’, ‘The IT Crowd’, ‘The Phone’, ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’, ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, ‘The Apprentice’ (UK), ‘Little Britain’, ‘The Office’, ‘Ali G’, ‘Super Nanny’, ‘Pop Idol’, ‘Perfect Match’ ... among others!
