    Marco Castellaneta

    Marco Castellaneta has over 25 years experience in the Media and Communications industry as a journalist, presenter and manager in print, radio and television. In 1999 he started Swiss TV channel Sat.1, and in 2003 was reponsible for the development of multi-platform show konsum.tv on SF2. In his seven years as CCO, spokesman and member of the Executive Board of Schering AG, he designed and established a company-wide communications system for the entire business in Europe and Asia. As delegate of Ringier’s 175th anniversary celebrations, Marco led all activities including 32 events across 10 countries. Marco became Head of Ringier Entertainment in 2009, managing its activities and investments in radio, television and live events including Radio Energy, Good News, Sat.1 (Switzerland), Teleclub and Ticketcorner. Marco has been Chairman of the Rose d’Or AG since 2010.

    Jørgen Franck

    A Danish national, Mr. Franck took office as Director ad interim of Eurovision TV on 1 January 2010. Franck’s career has followed a double track as he spent two decades as a classical musician, playing the principal oboe in the Danish Radio Sinfonietta, before he took advantage of his Masters degree in Law to occupy the post of Head of Legal Affairs at Danish broadcaster DR. He was CEO of the Nordmagi TV project founded by public service broadcasters in four Scandinavian countries to facilitate the production of pan-Nordic programming for children. This multi-facetted knowledge of the public service broadcasting business led to his move to the EBU and Eurovision TV in 2002 as right hand to the EurovisionTV Director.

    Marc Furrer

    Since 2008 he has been head of the postal regulatory service PostReg and president of the Swiss National Ice Hockey League. Furrer has been a lecturer at the University of St Gallen since 2006 and in 2007 he presided over the network of French language telecoms – FRATEL. In 2005 he was appointed head of the Swiss delegation to the UN Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) in Tunis. Between 1992 and 2004 Marc was Director of the Federal Office of Communications (BAKOM). He previously served for four years as PA to Federal Councillor Adolf Ogi. After studying Law at the University of Bern and receiving certification as an attorney and notary, Marc Furrer held several roles at Radio DRS including Head of Index 5 vor 12 and Federal House editor.

    John Gough

    Over the past 15 years John Gough has established a broad base of experience in the global entertainment format business and now sits on the boards of various TV and screen related companies. It was the devising of the hit game show «In The Dark» that originally propelled Gough into entertainment television and the format business when it launched in 1996 on ITV in the UK. He subsequently travelled the world producing the format with major broadcasters in 35 countries. Gough now writes about the format business and speaks at conferences around the world. He works closely with FRAPA (the Format Recognition and Protection Association) is Head of programme at the EMC and a godfather at the Berlin School of Creative Leadership. He has been jury member at the major television awards such as the International Emmy Awards, the Rose d'Or, the Monte Carlo Format Awards and is a member of BAFTA and an honorary member of the British Society of Comedy Writers.

    Daniel Gutenberg is General Partner of VI Partners AG, a Swiss venture capital firm. He joined the company in 2003. Subsequent to selling Gutenberg Communication Systems AG (a company he founded in 1991) to the Telindus Group in the year 2000, he became Country Manager of Telindus for three countries and six companies during the next two years, and he was also a member of the Executive Board. Since 2002 Daniel Gutenberg became a very active business angel and investor in numerous startups.     David Liddiment

    David Liddiment is a former Director of Programming at ITV (1997–2002), and his extensive broadcasting career has included a number of roles ranging from Executive Producer of Coronation Street, to Director of Programming at Granada TV in 1992, when he commissioned top ITV dramas Cracker and Band of Gold. Liddiment was also previously Head of Entertainment Group for BBC Television, and Deputy Managing Director and Director of Programming at LWT. Liddiment is currently the Creative Director of independent television production company, All3 Media. In January 2007 he was appointed to the new BBC Board of Trustees.

    Catherine Mühlemann

    Catherine Mühlemann started her professional career in 1994 at public Swiss television station and later TV3, Switzerland's first private television channel. In 2001 she was appointed General Manager MTV Central (German speaking territories) and started a long career within MTV Networks/VIACOM. In 2003 she was additionally put in charge of the so-called Emerging Markets, the growing markets in Eastern Europe and the Middle East. After MTV owner VIACOM's acquisition of VIVA Media AG in 2005 she became also responsible for VIVA Media Group's TV business. Overall, Mühlemann operated a business of six different Media Brands (MTV, VIVA, VH1, Nickelodeon, GameOne and Comedy Central) with twenty TV channels that reached more than 70 million households in 25 countries. Today Mühlemann is an independent Media Entrepreneur and Manager. She is a co-owner of the Andmann Media Holding GmbH, has different board seats, a.o. in Swisscom, in internet companies and the advertising industry. As a member of the Berlin Board she is a consultant to the Governing Mayor, especially interested in developing the cultural sector and the creative industries in Berlin. The Berlin Cross of the Order of Merit has been awarded to her in 2006. Catherine Mühlemann lives in Berlin and has two children.

    Stefano Semeria

    In 1999, after studies in law, cultural studies, European ethnology, Semeria graduated in audio visual sciences. He then began work as a format scout at typhoon networks ag. Subsequently Semeria was active as a Program Planner at Das Erste, Germany's first publicly owned television channel, in Munich. From there, he transferred to ORB (the public broadcaster for the federal state of Brandenburg) in Potsdam-Babelsberg as Head of Programming. He stayed at ORB until its successful merger with rbb, the joint public broadcaster of the states of Berlin and Brandenburg. Starting in fall 2003, he worked on the creation of a new department for international market observation at ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG. He acted as Head of International Format Research there until March 2009. In April 2009, Semeria began work as a freelance consultant focusing on TV and online formats. At MIPTV 2010 he curated the «The Fresh Talent Pitch» for Reed Midem. In April 2010 Semeria founded allscreenz, a research and trend scouting company, that analyzed broadcasters' online strategies worldwide. In January 2011 he started as Head of Programming TV in a fully convergent environment at Swiss Radio and Television, SRF. Semeria served as a member of the multiplatform jury at the prestigious Rose d'Or Festival (2010), key note speaker and regular lecturer at renowned universities and institutes such as European Television and Media Management Academy (etma), the Film and Television University at Potsdam-Babelsberg and the Entertainment Master Class.
